I am a big fan of the quick doodle. When looking for something big and more substatial to work on, I tend to try and find the tinies most insignifigant throw-away of a doodle, because they generally have the most oomph to them, in there strange tiny way.
Jesse,
Absolutly agree, everything after the 'oomph" is just pretty window dressing.
An art on to itself/ a different beast all it's own that often devours the perfect little doodle :( !
there's just something in a quick gestural drawing that is purely emotional marky! you always capture that! you inspire me! keep up with the beautiful stuff!
Gary,
:):) Yeah, I've often thought this simple stuff beyond the problem solving is reflective/personal poetry.
A language that really is something special, even if it's just a bunch of mumbling:). Though I would still trade a few toes to grasp structure just half as good as you:).
