MUCK A LUCK

A quick little study in muck. I think I remember this day actually being a bit brighter/some sun?

Concentration so focoused on subtly of rocks I think I forgot to use any color.
How that green in the water snuck in is beyond me. Occasionaly bit's of the surf has an" out of place" presence which I think is what I find so facinateing.

Design also a bit whacky, now that I'm looking at it.Still , that bit of light hitting the top of the far right mass actually looks cool:).

Hey Mark,

Is this the same day that we went out to paint South Rock in Laguna? I like how the light in the foreground leads you to that huge rock in the center of the painting. I was enticed to make my painting's sky the brightest/milky part of my painting that day... I prefer your dark gray sky.

Maestro Tony! nah, I think was another/pile of rocks, Bill was painting nearby, not sure if he ever posted his version of it/that.

That day was fun, I did something kind of weak, and of course got my Wray lesson on how to fix it, which of course was very helpful. You were in your cave around the cove, and I rember thinking what a great painting you did, ggrrrrrrrr.... :):)!
